'Woh Lamhe' is directed by Mohit Suri. He is well known for his films like 'Zeher' and 'Kalyug'. The young director has brought alive moments shared between Mahesh Bhatt and Parveen Babi. His selection of cast is good. He is applauded for his best direction for the film.
In Mumbai, famous actress Sana Azim (Kangana Ranaut) slashes her wrists in a hotel room, in an attempt to kill herself. When this is learnt by filmmaker Aditya Garewal (Shiny Ahuja), he is shocked. He has been searching for Sana, his lady love who left him without any reason, since three years. Sana is rushed to a hospital. Waiting outside the ICU, Aditya prays God to get reunited with Sana. He hurls back into the rosy days and nights of his memory, wherein Sana played the role of both lover and mentor to a struggling Aditya. Everything was fine, except for an unsuspected enemy waiting to destroy their love. When Aditya realizes that the only way to save Sana is to take her away from Bollywood, he runs away with Sana putting his career on the line. Those moments lived in the sanctuary of their love. One day suddenly, she dissappears. What made Sana to leave her boy friend? Will they reunite? To know the answers watch the film on the silver screen.
Performance:
Shiny Ahuja has performed well. This is his best role in his career. Kangana Ranaut, who made her debut with 'Gangster', looks beautiful. She has done a good job. The chemistry between Kangana and Shiny is interesting. The duo have paired for the second time. New comer Shaad Randhawa has impressed in the role of a baddie. The music given by Pritam, Roop Kumar Rathod is good. All the songs are catchy. Story is good. Cinematography, direction are fine. Screenplay has got its own importance. The other aspects are alright.
