Siddharth Anand, who gave us a block buster 'Salaam Namaste', has come up with yet another interesting venture titled 'Ta Ra Rum
Pum'. The film has all the necessary ingredients to attract the audience. The film tells us the story of a man, his family and how they
overcome the obstacles that came their way. 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' easily ranks amongst the stylish films made under Yash Raj Film's
banner.
Rajveer Singh (Saif Ali Khan) or RV, an orphan, is a college drop-out. His passion in life is to race cars. He becomes a part of the
pit-crew in a racing team. The same day he meets a music student (Rani Mukherjee) and falls for her. With only one car-ride,
everything gets changed for RV. He moves from the pit-crew to become the team itself, courtesy Harry (Javed Jafferi), the team
manager. One the otherside, his love life also blossoms. A few months later, he is both the happily married man and the number 1 car
racer in U.S.A. He is the proud father of two kids, Priya (Angelina Idnani) and Ranveer (Ali Haji). But as a result of a bad racing
accident, RV is hospitalized for a few months. Later RV tries to make a comeback, but could not. His life now takes a turn for the
worse and after a string of failures, he is forced to auction his house and move with his family to a run-down neighborhood. And how
RV and his family succeed in bringing back the past glory, is to be seen on the screen.
