Cast: Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Mohnish Behl, Shakthi Kapoor Director:K.S.Adhiyaman Producer:Bharat Shah Music:Daboo Malik, Sajid - Wajid Date Of Release: August 4th, 2006 Synopsis
Director K.S.Adhiyaman has come out with a different story for 'Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya
Yaar'. It is a family entertainer packed with love and humour. The film throws light on the
thoughts of two people belonging to the different family status. He partly succeeds in his attempt.
Ayaan (Salman Khan) is from an upper middle class family. He falls in love with a model, Ahana
(Shilpa Shetty) who belongs to a rich family. After the passage of some days, the two get married.
Both of them look forward to a blissful and contented married life. But the future has something
else in store for the duo. Ahana discovers that there is a cultural difference between her
upbringing and Ayaan's family. The small differences crop up, which eventually lead to major
confrontations. And how Ayaan succeeds in bringing his wife and family under one roof, forms
the rest of the story.
Performance:
Salman Khan has performed well. His comedy sequences are impressive. Shilpa Shetty did her
job well. She has negative shades in her character. The chemistry between Shilpa Shetty and
Salman Khan is well picturised. Shakti Kapoor suited the role well. The others played upto the
content. Music by Sajid-Wajid, Dabboo Malik and P.Sameer is fine. Story is a mixture of all the
earlier films of Salman that came under Rajshri banners. Direction and other technical aspects
are okay.
