Director Suresh Krihsna has come out with a raw subject for his venture 'Rocky'. The film is based on the story of today's youth, their thoughts, their dreams and fight to realize them. The director has taken an outdated plot for the film. His selection of cast is okay. Same with the technical team except for the music and action.
Rocky (Zayed Khan) hates everything that is wrong - the system, the people, who take things lying down without raising a finger. He cannot accept the indifference towards injustice. Rocky's father wants him to change his attitude and advises him not to invite trouble unnecessarily by interfering into other's matters. However he becomes helpless when his beloved (Isha Shevani) is killed in front of his eyes. Instead Rocky is blamed for it. His parents forcibly take him to London. Rocky just cannot stop himself and returns to avenge the death. And how this is done forms the remaining part of the film.
Performance:
Zayed Khan does well. He excels in stunts. Isha Sharvani looks beautiful. She performes well. Minissha is alright. The chemistry between Zayed Khan and Isha Sharvani is good. Rajat Bedi suits the role well. Suresh Menon and Smitha Jaykar are fine. Ashwin Kaushal is adequate. Music by Himesh Reshammiya is the only plus point of the film. Story, direction are just adequate. Stunts are impressive. Screenplay and other technical aspects are fine.
