Director Gautam Ghose has come out with a good subject and an experienced cast for his latest venture 'Yatra'.
Dasrath Joglekar (Nana Patekar) is a famous writer. On his way to receive a prestigious award in New Delhi, Dasrath meets a young film maker (Nakul Vaid). The film maker is a great fan of Dasrath and his writing exploits. The meeting between the two turns nostalgic with both discussing the characters of Dasrath's famed novel, Janaza. Both of them narrate the true story of the protagonist, Lajvanti (Rekha) in their own perspective. The film maker envisions making a movie based on the novel.
After the award winning ceremony, thoughts of his earlier novel and the ideas of a new novel keep confusing Dasrath. To the dismay of the organizers, Dasrath disappears from his hotel room. Everybody get anxious about Dasrath. What makes him to dissappear from there? Where does he go? To know the answers don't forget to watch this interesting flick.
