Raj Jaiswal (Arjun Rampal) is a Casanova who is the star attraction of the T.V show British Raj for India Shining T.V channel where he is all set to make a conquest of the new co-anchor on his show. But all hell breaks loose when he finds an unexpected visitor in his bedroom - a woman who claims to be merely an apparition who has finally found someone who can see her, feel her and hear her. Raj Jaiswal who has found himself at such a juncture of life and is soon to fall in love with someone who is invisible to rest of the world around him and no one else can sense her presence.
And now begins a sweet love story that was never ever heard before and would never be told again. In this love story of his, Raj had only a few close people whom he could trust. His best friend and co-worker Akshay (Chunky Pandey), his wife Kuljeet Kapoor (Sonali Kulkarni) who prided herself on being a friendly neighborhood wife beater and Dr. Patnaik (Boman Irani), a psychiatrist, for whom this was the most puzzling problem cases ever. Raj sings, dances and hangs around with his sweetheart. But destiny has its own game to play as good times do not really promise to last forever. Shivani's spirit may have been Raj but her comatose body was in the hospital in care of a doctor who wanted to unplug her life support forever.But Raj dismisses their first meeting as a bad dream until the next morning and comes to know that Shivani is actually what she claims to be - a wandering spirit whose physical body is in the twilight zone between life and death.
So when the doctor prepares to end Shivani's physical care - and destroy the magical bond she and Raj share - he must find a way to save her. As their unusual friendship develops and deepens, Raj is determined to save Shivani’s life at all costs - even if it means breaking the law.
