Synopsis
'Gandhi My Father' is written and directed by Feroz Khan. The film revolves around the troubled relationship between one of
the most lovable person, Mahatma Gandhi, and his son Harilal. Akshaye Khanna plays Harilal and is one of the most under-rated
actors in Bollywood.
The film is adapted from Feroz Khan's thought-provoking play, 'Mahatma v/s Gandhi'. Darshan Jariwala does the role of Mahatma
Gandhi. Although inspired by the teachings of one of the greatest men of the modern world, 'Gandhi My Father' is said to be
far from portrayal of Gandhi's struggle towards India's independence. The film delves into a territory that has never before
been visited by film. Coming from a family that has been involved in the art of filmmaking for the past 50 years, actor Anil
Kapoor has entered the realm of production with 'Gandhi My Father'. He is said to have brought thorough knowledge and wide
experience to the craft. Bhumika Chawla does the role of Harilal's wife.
