'Naksha' is an adventure flick directed by a debutant director Sachin Bajaj. The director has taken a hollywood flick by Indiana Jones
as an inspiration for his film. He has combined Indian mythology with adventure to generate a different plot for 'Naksha'. His attempt
is most appreciated one. The director, tried something different in his first film itself.
Vicky (Viveik Oberoi) and Veer (Sunny Deol) are brothers whose father, Professor Kapil Malhotra (Trilok Malhotra), was killed by
rival archaeologist Bali (Jackie Shroff) when he found a map to a 'treasure' that could change the course of history. Twenty years later
Vicky finds the map and is joined by Veer to reach the hidden place before Bali and his men do. Along this journey, they encounter
one more ally in Ria (Sameera Reddy). The trio sets off on the journey to unravel the mystery behind the map. And do they succeed
in their attempt, is to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Sunny Deol has performed well as Vivek's brother. Vivek Oberoi did his role comfortably. Sameera Reddy adds glamour to the film.
Jackie Shroff's role as a baddie is interesting. Trilok Malhotra is adequate. Suhasini Mulay and Navni Parihaar are alright. The others
did upto the content. Music by Pritam is good. There is nothing special in Story. Some outdoor sequences are well shot. The film'
direction is adequate. Screenplay is good in some places. The other technical aspects are okay.
