Director Tanveer Khan tries to juxtapose September 11 attack, ISI militants, anti-terrorist squad and schizophrenia in one blob. The result leaves much to be desired, with a shoddy script pulling down the could-have-been interesting storyline. The music is nothing to write home about. There's no scantily-clad Bips, dressed in virginal white and beaded jewellery, walking out of water and flaunting her tresses. Secondly, the 'can't-handle' sizzle between real lovers Bipasha Basu and John Abraham is missing, and those looking for loads of oomph from the Bong sex bomb, forget it.

Story
Bipasha Basu (Anupama) is an art college student, who loves drawing a figure here and there and filling it with hues. She loses her sister and brother-in-law in the WTC attack and for those who'd thought that the terrorist attack will have some bearing on the film's storyline, forget it, case there's nothing more than just a 2-minute long staid footage of the twin tower collapse.
Apart from pursuing her arty vocation and being engaged to advertising professional Priyanshu Chatterjee (Arpit), chosen judiciously by the parents, the dusky bombshell is also able to see situations and people that are hidden from the public eye.
And her gift to see between the lines revolves has to do with the fact that the tall and dusky Bips is suffering from schizophrenia, known as 'personality disorder' in the layman's lingo. On an art assignment outside town, she bumps (literally!) into Abraham (Aman), who is on a mindless killing spree, gunning down suspected ISI militants at a deserted railway station and doing his bit in cleansing the 1-billion strong country of bad elements!
The good samaritan Abraham on the run, entrusts his gun to his real life girlfriend, who's too stumped for words to see her dream man take such a delectable shape. Imaginary rendezvous, song-and-dance routine and meetings follow suit, which establish Abraham as "the man with a mission" and being one among a 100 people who have been chosen to root out evil.
Torn between love and reality and goaded into completing her impending marriage with her supposed lover, Bips, refusing to accept the Dhoom boy as a mere figment of her imagination, decides to slash her wrist, bringing her family face-to-face with her hidden disease.

In order to check her imagination from running riot, she is administered shock and large doses of a John Abraham lookalike, (picked up the streets without a frantic search), who apparently is a theatre actor and does his bit to cure her ailment by taking her to places visited by her runaway imagination.
Concerned parents, buoyed by the duo' chemistry declare marriage on the two, which the conscientious Abraham decides to play spoilsport at the last moment by revealing a secret about his makeover. A supportive friend in Shweta Tiwari (Prerna of Kasauti Zindagi Ki fame) makes her realise that she is chasing an illusion, after all. And ultimately the best man gets to keep the girl.
Performance Bips is a visual treat and looks stunning, getting up, cosy and personal with Johnny boy. Priyanshu's ok, considering the torture that he goes through including a tryst with the scalpel on the table, which makes him a little unsure of what he's doing there.
Music: Average.
