'Kya Love Story Hai' is directed by Lovely Singh. Its story is written by Rahul Singh. The film has a triangular love story
that circulates among three people. The film's plot is that of olden times, which has nothing special to feel kya love story hai'. Added to it is its screenplay. The debutante director could have taken a good script for the title.
Arjun (Tusshar Kapoor) falls in love with Kaajal (Ayesha Takia) in his first meet itself. He follows her for some time
instead of expressing his feelings to her. For Kaajal, Arjun is a mere acquaintance. They are good friends. Now Arjun
tries to propose her directly, but could not. Certain unexpected events occur when Kaajal comes across a love letter
written by Arjun without revealing the name of his lover. The decision taken by Kaajal makes Arjun disappear from the
place. Meanwhile a successful entrepreneur Ranveer (Karan Hukku) meets Kaajal. Following some heated verbal scuffles
with her, he concludes that she would make for an appropriate life-partner and the duo get engaged. When Arjun returns
like a man who could deserve Kaajal, he finds her engaged to the enterpreneur. What follows later is to be seen on the
screen.
Performance:
Tusshar Kapoor has performed well. His role is same as that of his debut film 'Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai'. Ayesha Takia
has performed her role with admirable ease. Her looks are impressive. The chemistry between Tusshar and Ayesha is
good. Kareena Kapoor looks gorgeous in the first song. New comer Karan Hukku is alright. The others are just
adequate. Music by Pritam is the main asset for the film. Cinematography is decent. Dialogues are natural. Story is that
of 70s. Screenplay could have been better. The other aspects are okay.
