Dev Saran (Shah Rukh Khan) maintains a troubled relationship with his wife Rhea (Preity Zinta) and son Arjun (child artist Ahsaas). He is against his wife's growing success. Maya Talwar's (Rani Mukherji) maintains a doubtful relationship with her husband Rishi (Abhishek Bachchan). She is unable to whip up enough passion for him. She thinks that he does not suit for her love. This forces her to part away from him. One fine day, Dev and Maya meet each other and realize that their respective married lives lack the intensity of the love and attraction that they have for each other. Performance:
Shah Rukh Khan excels in his performance. His sequences with Preity Zinta are interesting. Rani Mukherjee's performance is yet again a remarkable one. Her overall appearance is tremendous. She's never looked as good before. The chemistry between Rani and Shah Rukh is shown excellently. Abhishek Bachchan did his job well. Preity Zinta looks gorgeous. She played her role impressively. Amitabh has once again shown his brilliance in the film. His sequences with Shah Rukh Khan are fine. Kiron Kher is superb. Music by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy is good. Story, direction and screenplay are good. The film has high production values and performance is the main strength of the film.
