Kangana Ranaut's hairstyling costs lakhs Styling Kangana Ranaut for a dozen different looks in the upcoming crime thriller 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' did burn a little hole in the producer's pocket. Since the film is set in the 1970s and Kangana plays a character modelled on the sublimely beautiful Madhubala, special attention was paid to her look and, particularly, hairstyling.
We learn that the best hairstylists in the industry were roped in and as many as a dozen wigs were used to give Kangana different retro looks. The wigs alone cost the producer a whopping Rs. 20 lakh. Kangana admits that her styling in the film was pretty expensive because director Milan Luthria wanted her character to not just have a retro look but also have an appearance that has an international appeal. |
