Abhishek Bachchan turns 34
While other stars take a day off to celebrate their birthdays, Abhishek Bachchan loves to work on the special day.
That's what he's doing today, as he turns 34. He's shooting for director Abhinay Deo's film 'Crooked' in Mumbai.
Wife Aishwarya Rai might join him for sometime on the movie's sets today, but even if she doesn't, Abhishek's not
complaining. "If she is free, she'll come and join me. If not, I'll meet her at night after I finish working," Abhishek is
quoted as saying by a news agency. Never known to throw lavish parties on his birthdays, Abhishek prefers to
spend the day working and evening with his wife and parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
It's been eleven years since Abhishek entered the film industry with J P Dutta's film Refugee and today, at 34, he
feels more confident as an actor. 2009 saw him only in his home production 'Paa' but 2010 is going to be extremely
busy for Abhi. Though he's already completed Mani Ratnam's Raavan, his diary is full with a number of projects
including Ashutosh Gowarikar's Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Abhinay Deo's 'Crooked', Tarun Mansukhani's 'Dostana
2', Abbas-Mastan's Hindi remake of 'The Italian Job, apart from films with Prabhu Deva and Anees Bazmee. |
