A.R.Rahman celebrates his 44th birthday 
2009 was a golden year for the musician A.R.Rahman, who turns 44 today. A media shy person,
Rahman is not that into celebrations. For him, it rained awards last year he brought home
two Oscars and BAFTA and earned accolades for his marvelous compositions from 'Slumdog
Millionaire'. But the Mozart of Madras has his head firmly on his shoulders and for sometime
is keeping a low profile. But that doesn't mean his fans will be devoid of his music. So,
what's in store for Rahmaniacs?
The prodigious composer has three films lined up for this year, first is Mani Ratnam's
'Raavan' that stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Then he has composed music for
Rajnikant's mega budget movie Endhiran and there is Gautam Menon's 'Vinaani Thandi
Varuvaya', too. On international front, apart from his concerts that are planned in the
Middle East, Singapore and Australia, he has projects like Danny Boyle's upcoming mega
budget flick '127 Hours' and also the Ashok Amritraj film 'Street Dancing' for the year
