Shah Rukh Khan to sing in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'

Shah Rukh Khan will once again be crooning for his film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. The actor has rendered a number Kabhi Kabhi Jodiyan for the film. However, this is not the first time that the actor has sung for his film. Before 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', Shah Rukh had sung Apun Bola Tu Meri Laila for Josh. Interestingly, Aditya Chopra unveiled the first promo of the film on Shah Rukh's 43rd birthday as a special gift.

This is the first time that Yash Raj Films broke their tradition of releasing a promo of the film before its music release. "We thought of doing so because the occasion was special," said Aditya, who has written and directed the film. The association between Shah Rukh and Aditya goes back a long way and Aditya is leaving no stone unturned to make the film a success. Shah Rukh has a mature and elderly look in the movie. The highlight of the film is the number Oh Yaara Oh Yaara that is a dance number sung by five different singers, including debutante and 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' lead actress Anushka Sharma.

The film also features Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra in special appearances. The film has seven singers, which include Lata Mangeshkar, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet Sawant, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and they will all be singing for composer duo Salim-Sulaiman. The film is expected to hit theatres on December 12.
