Sameera goes noble shopping 
Sameera Reddy recently went on a shopping spree buying designerwear. But
this shopping spree was for a "cause"! Designers Gayatri Khanna, Narendra
Kumar, Nikasha Tawade and many more joined hands and auctioned their
clothes, the proceeds of which went in aid of breast cancer nts.
The actress though reluctant to talk about her charitable deed, says, "I do
not like to mention any social deeds that I do for a good cause. I feel good
deeds are not done to gain any sort of publicity. Imagine the plight of
these cancer patients who survive with the fear of death. If we can brighten
up their lives for a few moments, then why not?" she says. Actors Kabir Bedi
and Pooja Bedi also joined Sameera later. After the success of Race, Sameera
is now looking forward to her animation venture Mahayodha Ram, wherein she
is playing the role of Sita. 'We have given voices to the characters. I am
also doing Mira Nair's film on AIDS called "Migration". Then I am doing
Anant Mahadevan's Red," she says. n SB
