Shabd director ropes in Big B 
Leena Yadav, who directed Shabd starring Aishwarya Rai, Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan, is back on the sets with her next film titled Teen Patti. If her first film boasted of such an impressive star cast, Teen Patti has none other than Amitabh Bachchan playing the central character alongside R. Madhavan. It’s been an eventful three years since Shabd released in 2005 for Leena, who was busy writing scripts and now it's back to "lights, camera and action" yet again. So how does it feel directing Mr Bachchan.
"Well, we just completed a short schedule in Mumbai in March this year with Bachchan. What can I say about him except that he’s the ultimate dream to work with. One can just imagine a role and he’ll execute it just the way you want, maybe even better. There was no doubt in my mind that only he could essay this part and if he wasn't a part of it, I wouldn't have started Teen Patti," says Leena. Ambika Hinduja, who had earlier produced Being Cyrus, is producing the film. Teen Patti is also a launch vehicle for six newcomers who have been signed on by Leena and producer Ambika.
"All of them have great potential," adds Leena. Is she working on other films simultaneously. "No, I prefer working on one film at a time. It suits me just fine. Our next schedule is in July wherein we shoot in the US, Mumbai and Pune. And we are busy gearing up for this schedule,"she says. Leena has co-written Teen Patti with Shiv Subramaniam who has written Parinda, 1942 A Love Story and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi amongst others.
