Akshay shows his raunchy side in 'Tashan' There is a shot in the soon-to-be-released 'Tashan' in which Akshay Kumar unleashes his raunchy side. The movie has Akshay
playing a countryside goon named Bachchan Pande, who is skilled at recovering anything from a cow to a bungalow from
defaulters. He is a typical desi guy who speaks in a rustic accent and has the mannerisms of an uncouth man.
While shooting the song 'Dil Dance' for the film in 'Ladakh', choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and director Vijay Krishna
Acharya wanted Akshay to do a vulgar gesture. The actor was required to grab his crotch for a shot. Understanding well that
the gesture went with the mannerisms of his character, Akshay agreed to do it. And he did it so convincingly that the unit
was left asking for more.
Reports have it that the shooting unit was so amused by Akshay’s shot that they told him that he needed to give a retake.
This way a couple of retakes followed and Akshay was made to grab his crotch again and again until he realized that he had
become the butt of everyone's joke. The shot came out so well that it has been kept in the film's promos. A Yashraj Films
presentation, 'Tashan' tells the story of four unique people on a fateful journey that alters the course of their lives.
Besides Akshay, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
