Rakhi's item number dropped from 'Krazzy 4' Rakhi Sawant's much-hyped item number from Rakesh Roshan's 'Krazzy 4' has been deleted from
the film. The trailers of the song Dekhta Hai Tu Kya have been on air for quite a while now.
Rakhi was thrilled when producer Roshan approached her for the song. By bagging this number
from a prestigious cinema house like Film Kraft Productions, Rakhi had finally got into the
"A-list" of Bollywood.
Director Jaideep Sen had earlier said, "Rakhi is professionalism personified. She danced for
almost 12 hours with just a two-hour break in between." The director, when contacted,
revealed that the song had to be dropped. "It wasn’t working in the final flow of the film"
was all that he chose to say. When asked why they publicised the item number in the
beginning, the director replied, "In the initial stages we wanted the song and were
impressed by her performance. We never realised that it wouldn't work. But as we are nearing
completion, we realised that it was hindering the flow of the film." |
