Paresh Rawal very selective about roles Paresh Rawal has decided to do only selected films. The actor said that he receives
innumerable offers everyday asking him to do comedy roles, but most of them are roles that
make no sense to him. “I am an actor and I don’t want to do the same things. It will not only
bore the audience but will also make me stagnate as an actor, and I definitely don’t want
that to happen,” he said.
Paresh has also rebuffed the allegation that he charges Rs 1 crore per film. “What rubbish.
This piece of news is absolutely untrue. As an actor, it is my character and the film’s script
that is of utmost importance to me. Money is secondary in that aspect. Yes, money is
important because I am married and I have a family to take care of. I would never give up on
a good role just because the producer is unable to pay me a huge sum of money,” he said.
He also said "I am not only restricted to comedy roles, but am wide open to do any kind of
good character roles as i did early and will continue in future also. |
