Amrita Rao is fondly called 'Barbie Didi' The children who are acting in Sangeeta Ahir’s debut venture 'Vaah Life Ho To Aisi' are so delighted with the lead actress Amrita Rao that they have started calling her “Barbie Didi”. When asked about the same, Amrita was all smiles, and said, “Yes, the children started calling me that when we started shooting. It was fun working with them, they had no inhibitions and no egos. It was like a picnic. I enjoyed working with these children."
'Vaah Life Ho To Aisi' is Amrita’s second film opposite Shahid Kapur. Their first film 'Ishq Vishq' was a hit and the duo made a good pair. “Yes, it has been quoted many times that Shahid and I make a good pair. I hope this film does well too. I play the role of a school teacher in the film. It is a fantasy film and they have used a lot of special effects. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Lord Yama — the harbinger of death,” she says.
Amrita has John Matthew Mathan’s 'Shikar' and Sooraj Barjatya’s 'Vivaah' in the pipeline and in both the films, she has been paired opposite Shahid Kapur. |
