'Delhi Heights' is directed by Anand Kumar. The director has taken a routine story and tried to show it in a different manner. But he could not execute it well. The film has some credits like its music, cast and cinematography. But its script and narration spoils the film. Director Anand fails in his attempt to present a good film.
Abi (Jimmy Shergill) and Suhana (Neha Dhupia) are a newly-married couple who live in a complex called Delhi Heights. They work for rival companies. Abi's friend Bobby (Rohit Roy) and his wife Saima (Simone Singh) also live in the same complex. Due to their tiresome professional lives, Abi and Suhana are not able to dedicate ample time to each other. On the other hand, Bobby is a compulsive flirt. When Bobby and Suhana meet at Suhana's house for a business chat, Abi begins to feel uncomfortable with Bobby being around too much. Abi and Suhana are working on the same deal from different companies and it seems to be going in favour of Abi. But at the end moment, the deal goes in favour of Suhana's company. Abi feels Suhana is the main cause for that and has a tiff with her without giving her a chance to explain.
Saima is fed up of her husband's flirtatious ways and catches him red-handed one day. In the tension, Bobby meets with an accident. Since Smone loves him, she takes care of him and and the incident changes their lives. Meanwhile, Abi realizes his fault and apologizes to Suhana, realizing that she was not responsible for anything.
Performance:
Jimmy Shergill is excellent. He is completely natural. Neha Dhupia does her part with equal conviction. She is evolving into a fine actor. The chemistry between Jimmy and Neha is good. Rohit Roy is alright. Simone Singh is first rate. The others did upto the content. Music by Rabbi Shergill is pleasant. Song sequences are interesting. Story and direction could have been better. The other technical aspects are okay.
